About OCHS Snowboard Team:

We are a competitive snowboarding team made up of high school students of all levels. Riders benefit from a team environment, dedicated coaches, developing skills, challenging themselves and having fun! Riders train at Mt. Hood Meadows once per week. Training will focus on advancing techniques in Slopestyle, Banked Slalom, Halfpipe, and Boardercross.

Skill Levels:

All levels are welcome but you will best benefit and enjoy being on the team as an intermediate and advanced rider. Being able to ride down blue runs is ideal.

Equipment:

Riders will need to provide their own helmet, snowboard w/bindings, boots, snow pants, snow jacket, gloves, goggles with night lens, and all-access season pass.

Fees:

The team fee to participate on the snowboard team is determined each season. Fee's include competition fees, league fees, jerseys, and transportation cost for practices. The team fee is nonrefundable.

In addition to the team fee, riders/parents are responsible for providing their own gear, season pass, and transportation on competition days.

There is also a $30 winter sports processing fee that must be paid in accounting to participate in OCHS sports.
